User registration in the Online Filing System (EPTOS)

The service provides access to the electronic form for registration of the public key from the certificate issued by the certification authority of the European Patent Office (European Patent Office CA G2), which is located on the user's Smart Card. As part of that registration, the user shall also provide his contact details. From the moment of registration, all services provided by Eptos are available for use by the registered user. In order to access the electronic form, it is necessary to have a properly installed card reader, to have a Smart Card with a certificate inserted in it and to insert the PIN for the certificate when prompted. The service is optimised for the Internet explorer web browser.
